Our Services
From youth to final transitions, we are here to help you navigate the myriad of choices you face as a pet parent. We will meet you where you are and help find a path of care for your pet that aligns with your core values.
-
Prevent
MMV can help keep your pet safe and healthy with various aspects of preventative care from individualized vaccination schedules based on your pet’s life-style, to routine blood panels, heartworm and fecal testing, microchipping, diet and behavioral consultations and preventative medication prescriptions.
-
Treat
MMV provides triage, minor illness treatment and chronic illness management services. We collect and run lab tests as needed, check blood pressure and manage medications. We can handle skin and ear infections, minor GI problems, and minor injuries. We will collaborate with your specialists and other health care team members to coordinate care so that you can pursue a treatment path that fits your values and resources. For existing clients we may be able to offer telemedicine consults for follow up on existing health concerns.

Travel
Dr. Farnell is USDA accredited to provide domestic and international health certificates for domestic animals. Traveling with your pet can be very complicated. Every journey is unique and in most cases of international travel very precise timelines need to be met. Careful advanced planning is required and if anything goes wrong in these cases your pet may not be able to travel. We are happy to discuss your travel plans and timeline to determine if we may be able to assist you.

Good Bye
We know making the decision to euthanize a pet can be one of the most difficult decisions you will need to make as a pet parent. Navigating this decision can be deeply emotional and confusing and deciding on the when and how of this can be challenging and complex. We are here to help. When the time comes for this final transition, we can provide guidance in the decision-making process, as well as assisting with the final transition in your home. MMV can manage final body care via either communal (no ashes returned) and individual (ashes returned) cremation.
